            We are looking for a System Administrator/Junior DevOps for the international product IT company,  which provides a full-stack package of complex AdTech solutions for digital advertisers, publishers and ad agencies worldwide. 

  The company develops white-label platforms for enterprise clients—custom turnkey solutions to automate and optimize digital advertising.

Company Products: SSP, DSP, Ad Exchange platforms.

Main markets - Tier 1-2 

Technical team - up to 30 people (CTO, Team Lead, Back-end -10, Front-end developers, QA, DevOps)

Project stack: Node.js (backend), NoSQL, SQL, Redis, MongoDB,  Linux.

Locations/Offices - Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Mykolaiv or fully remote.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in system administration in IT products (preferable SaaS solutions).
  • Experience in managing infrastructure with a large number of servers.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix (Ubuntu) administration & troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with physical servers (hardware) and virtualization (Proxmox, Hyper-V as a plus).
  • Knowledge of communication protocols and standards (HTTP, REST, SOAP, MQTT, gRPC; SSH, SFTP, FTP). 
  • Experience with databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, ClickHouse, MongoDB, Redis (basic administration, replication, troubleshooting).
  • Experience with monitoring: Zabbix, Prometheus + Grafana.
  • Experience with Proxy / Firewalls: nginx, apache, iptables; load balancers.
  • Proven experience with Bash
  • Attentive to details, responsible, stress-resistant.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, willing to grow into DevOps.

Python (automation scripts)

Ansible

Backup systems

VPN tunnels (IPSec, OpenVPN)

Understanding of OSI model

Experience with CI/CD: GitLab pipelines (basic setup, adding jobs).

Experience with Containers: Docker.

Responsibilities
  • Add and configure new servers.
  • Support ongoing projects, maintain system operability.
  • Work with data centers, documentation (Google Sheets/Docs, Confluence).
  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, respond to alerts.
  • Provision and control employee access (full admin level).
  • Cooperate closely with developers, PMs, and account managers.
  • Participate in infrastructure deployment and DevOps processes.
