Your Responsibilities
- Participate in the application lifecycle of Cardmarket’s website family
- Design and implement new modules and features
- Maintain and improve existing modules and features
- Implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces that align with UX/UI best practices
- Contribute to improve team’s processes through retrospectives
- A finished study, vocational training, or apprenticeship in software development, programming or similar experience
- 3+ years Experience in web application development with PHP
- Strong knowledge of frontend development essentials (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript/ES6+)
- Hands-on experience with React
- Familiarity with MVC architectural pattern
- Understanding of REST APIs for frontend/backend communication
- Knowledge in using version control (GitLab)
- Knowledge of these is a plus
- Bootstrap
- Docker, CI/CD
- Testing (PHPUnit)
- Fluent in English – verbal and written
- Enjoyment for website applications and interest in modern digital topics
- The capability of working independently and carefully as well as together with a team, paired with a problem-solving attitude
- Creativity, flexibility, quick thinking, and the capability of working in an agile team, experience in working with Scrum is a plus
- Presence in Berlin is required
- A full-time position (39 hours) in our office in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg
- 5 weeks paid vacation per year
