About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to join an innovative automotive design studio. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a creative, cross-functional team to explore the feasibility of new product ideas and develop production-quality, user-friendly applications that redefine the automotive experience. As part of the Technology & Innovation department, you will work alongside various design teams, contributing your expertise to shape the future of mobility through cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality Android applications tailored for automotive environments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to innovate and implement new features.
  • Ensure production readiness by applying best practices in testing, documentation, and continuous integration.
  • Optimize application performance, memory usage, and hardware integration.
  • Explore and integrate automotive-specific Android APIs and frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of professional Android development experience.
  • Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, C, and C++.
  • Deep understanding of the Android SDK, framework, and automotive-specific platforms such as Android Automotive OS and Android Auto.
  • Experience working with production tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Artifactory.
  • Skilled in Android testing frameworks including Espresso and UI Automator.
  • Demonstrated experience with automated testing (unit, functional, end-to-end), documentation, and continuous integration.
  • Expertise in performance optimization, memory management, and hardware interfacing.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with OpenGL ES or Vulkan graphics APIs.
  • Familiarity with SQLite, Jetpack components, ConstraintLayout, Android Animation API, and Android Media API (including ExoPlayer).
  • Knowledge of Room Persistence Library.
  • Understanding of AI algorithms and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Caffe.
  • Experience with Unity 3D and related audio or visual effect tools (NAudio, FMOD, Wwise, Shader Graph).
