Amentum is looking for C++ Junior Software Developer to join a small team in support of “FACTS” (Naval Tactical System Model) C++ development upgrades and corrections in support of Dahlgren, VA. You will be part of our growing systems & software engineering team and contribute to our diverse skillsets across multiple contracts in support of our Centers of Excellence. We are looking for individuals to join our team atmosphere that are eager to make a difference by solving complex Digital Engineering challenges.

C++ Junior Software Developer Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting C++ software development, and testing
  • Supporting Integration for modeling & simulation tool

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or other technical field.
  • Equivalent experience may serve as a substitution for the education requirement. Skills/Experience Requirements: This position requires 2 semesters of academic C++ experience.
  • Must have an active Secret security clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required for a SECRET Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Jira, GIT/Bitbucket, Gitlab Python, MATLAB, Microsoft Visual Studio
