Ciklum is looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will join the team that is responsible for allowing businesses to trail new and innovative products in the market.

You will work closely with product managers, designers, web and mobile engineers, as well as other backend engineers.

Our team is focused in the UK and consists of 3 Back-end engineers (1 lead and 2 mid-level), 2 iOS engineers, 2 Android engineers and 1 Web engineer.

We work closely with teams across the organisation to bring ideas to fruition and help long-lived projects graduate to appropriate teams.

Responsibilities:

• Designs and implements applications following software engineering best practices and principles
• Responsible for maintaining the defined level of code quality on the project
• Make required infrastructural changes for successful application deployment
• Working across teams within the organization to achieve product goals

Requirements:

• Use of best practices and patterns during application design and implementation
• Hands-on experience with a monolith, microservice, and serverless architectural styles

Software Development:

• In-depth proficiency level of C# and .Net technologies, implementing applications using defensive programming
• Successful cases in developing web services using industry standard conventions and practices
• Understanding integration patterns between services, domains, discrete systems and external platforms

Quality Assurance:

• Previous participation in constant quality improvement on the project: conducting code reviews, setting up quality metrics, and their monitoring
• Writing automated tests, contributing to regression packs based on the work you have done

Software Deployment:

• A hands-on experience with application deployment patterns and tools
• Practical experience in infrastructure configuration using popular cloud providers

Desirable:

• Experience in configuring application security aspects
• Practical experience in application performance optimization
