Human Resources Consultant

Are you ready to extend your human resources experience? This is an exciting opportunity to join the Human Resources (HR) Tier One team within the HR Business Partner team. You will join a team of passionate HR professionals working in partnership across the organisation. The role provides a range of HR services, including attending to staff enquiries; providing HR advice; and contributing to team projects and initiatives.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide advice, both written and verbal, to clients in relation to the interpretation and application of human resource legislation, directives, policies, practices and procedures.
• Assist HR Business Partner managers and other team members to deliver HR services and implement HR solutions.
• Support Recruitment and HR administration processes through undertaking related activities including advertising processes, employment screening, HR management activities and use of HR and business systems.
• Develop, implement and review work procedures, practices and systems which contribute to business improvement.
• Collect and analyse workforce data and produce reports on HR activities, trends and project progress.
• Work flexibly and collaboratively as an effective team member, providing project or administrative support for delivery of priorities for the People and Culture Branch.
• Actively participate in the team to build and sustain positive working relationships with team members and clients and to promote a positive culture which emphasises quality client service and continuous improvement.
