Mayo on a permanent basis reporting to Business Intelligence Manager. Job Summary

We are expanding our data capabilities and looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst with expertise in Qlik to join our growing team. This role will be pivotal in shaping and implementing our BI strategy, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels, translating complex business requirements into insightful, scalable, and visually compelling dashboards and reports. Your strong technical background in Qlik Sense, Qlik SaaS, and data modelling will be key to building intuitive solutions that drive strategic impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the BI Manager and stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives, to understand data needs and translate business questions into technical BI solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Qlik SaaS, Qlik Sense, QlikView, and Qlik NPrinting.
  • Build robust data models and implement complex set analysis to support self-service BI and executive reporting.
  • Develop and maintain data models and ETL processes to support BI initiatives.
  • Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for performance improvement and business growth.
  • Apply analytics techniques such as predictive analytics where appropriate.
  • Ensure high standards of data quality, accuracy, and integrity through audits and cleansing processes.
  • Promote a collaborative environment and best practices in BI and data storytelling.
  • Assist in training business users on dashboard functionality and encourage data literacy across the organization.
  • Continuously assess and improve reporting processes, dashboard usability, and performance.
  • Stay up to date with the latest BI tools, techniques, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • 1 year of professional experience in Business Intelligence, with a focus on Qlik Sense or Qlik SaaS.
  • Proven expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and data visualizations in Qlik.
  • Proficiency in data modelling and SQL.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to resolving data-related issues.

Desirable Skills

  • Qlik Sense Data Architect Certification or similar professional credentials.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or other cloud-based data platforms.
  • Familiarity with Jira or similar project/task management tools.
  • Exposure to AI-driven analytics or modern BI practices incorporating automation or machine learning.
  • Understanding of data governance, data lineage, or self-service BI environments.
