About the Role


As a Project Manager for Platform Engineering PMO, you will:


  • Accountable for the successful execution of technology projects, including migration, support and maintenance events
  • Establishing and managing detailed technical project plans for programs/projects focused on maintaining & modernizing our infrastructure
  • Define metrics, manage budget, schedules, resource plans and status reports. Identify project risks/gaps and create risk mitigation plans.
  • Provide project leadership, work direction, and feedback to the teams. Influence the work of others outside of direct authority to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met, issues and risks are communicated.
  • Coordinate work across cross functional and cross location teams.
  • Deliver formal presentations and executive summaries to senior management to provide recommendations and status updates
  • Actively partner in the program management process, providing high-level scoping, estimating, and planning of related initiatives managed by IHN
  • Experience in IAM or identity space is preferred
  • Be a Team Player, working in a collaborative environment, sharing ideas and contributing to driving service improvements across all service providers.
  • Act with strong sense of urgency operating in a fast-paced dynamic environment to deliver against strict timelines
  • Be an Effective Communicator, able to articulate complex issues, share ideas, and exhibit strong listening skills


Basic qualifications:

  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Familiarity with technology landscape
  • Familiarity with identity space is preferred
  • Familiarity with data reporting and analysis is an asset
  • Have experience working with cross functional and remote teams
  • PMP, prince2 or PMI-ACP certifications preferred


Previous experience


  • Experience in managing projects related to technology migrations is preferred.
  • Experience related to identity platform is preferred.


The pay rate that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $75-84hr CAD
