Are you a talented Front-End Developer looking to build innovative tools that have a real impact on the UK's transition to renewable energy?
I'm working with a market-leading energy trading firm that's playing a key role in helping balance the Grid and support decarbonisation. With a strong presence in the UK and European power markets, they operate in a fast-moving environment where technology and real-time insight drive trading decisions.
The Opportunity
You'll join their front-end engineering team to design, build, and maintain powerful trading interfaces used directly by Traders and Data Scientists. These tools provide real-time visibility of market movements, enabling the business to act quickly and effectively.
The company is also modernising its stack, moving away from legacy architecture and adopting Remix, keeping their front-end clean, efficient, and future-ready!
- Tech Stack & Skills We're Looking For
- Strong JavaScript skills and modern front-end development experience
- Proven experience building UI with Reactjs
- Solid HTML/CSS and familiarity with frameworks like Tailwind
- Experience with Git and collaborative workflows
- Confident working closely with Traders, Data Scientists and other Engineers
- Based in or able to commute to Bristol (5 days a week, on-site)
- Nice to Have
- Experience with Remix or other modern JS frameworks
- SQL knowledge
- Exposure to UX design, AWS or working alongside data teams (Python/R)
