Role And Responsibilities
You will play a key role in safeguarding the company’s systems, data, and transactions. You’ll oversee both cybersecurity strategy and IT infrastructure security to ensure the protection and scalability of our blockchain-based payment ecosystem.
Cybersecurity Strategy & Implementation
- Assess the company’s current cybersecurity posture, identifying vulnerabilities and risks.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity plan for 2025.
- Define and enforce policies for security, compliance, and data management.
- Establish best practices for securing frontend and backend systems.
- Design and manage threat detection, incident response, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOC 2).
- Manage access control policies for internal systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Support secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and assist with DevSecOps integration.
- Provide secure device management, VPN setup, and remote access solutions.
- Implement security best practices for blockchain applications and payments infrastructure.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in cybersecurity within payments, fintech, or blockchain.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security automation tools.
- Proficiency in securing APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and security incident management tools.
- Skilled in threat modeling, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment.
- Knowledge of IAM, zero-trust architecture, and encryption methods.
- Familiarity with GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, and crypto security regulations.
- Understanding of blockchain security risks, smart contract vulnerabilities, and Web3 security.
- Experience with Rust or TypeScript for security-related tasks.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes security, CI/CD pipeline protection, and DevSecOps principles.
- Familiarity with blockchain consensus mechanisms and cryptographic models.
- Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Crossplane).
