Role And Responsibilities

You will play a key role in safeguarding the company’s systems, data, and transactions. You’ll oversee both cybersecurity strategy and IT infrastructure security to ensure the protection and scalability of our blockchain-based payment ecosystem.

Cybersecurity Strategy & Implementation

Assess the company’s current cybersecurity posture, identifying vulnerabilities and risks.
Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity plan for 2025.
Define and enforce policies for security, compliance, and data management.
Establish best practices for securing frontend and backend systems.
Design and manage threat detection, incident response, and risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOC 2).

IT Administration & Infrastructure Security

Manage access control policies for internal systems and cloud infrastructure.
Support secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and assist with DevSecOps integration.
Provide secure device management, VPN setup, and remote access solutions.
Implement security best practices for blockchain applications and payments infrastructure.

Must-Have

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in cybersecurity within payments, fintech, or blockchain.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
Expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security automation tools.
Proficiency in securing APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and security incident management tools.
Skilled in threat modeling, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment.
Knowledge of IAM, zero-trust architecture, and encryption methods.
Familiarity with GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, and crypto security regulations.
Understanding of blockchain security risks, smart contract vulnerabilities, and Web3 security.

Nice To Have

Experience with Rust or TypeScript for security-related tasks.
Knowledge of Kubernetes security, CI/CD pipeline protection, and DevSecOps principles.
Familiarity with blockchain consensus mechanisms and cryptographic models.
Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Crossplane).
