SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects and ensure successful delivery of innovative solutions within the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) sector. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and quality standards. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project execution, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and delivery.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, tasks, and resource requirements.
- Develop, manage, and track detailed project plans and progress against milestones.
- Provide direction and support to project teams, ensuring on-time and quality delivery.
- Oversee project documentation, reporting, and communication with stakeholders.
- Provide regular status updates, ensuring transparency on timelines, risks, and progress.
- Support customer requirements by coordinating technical discussions and follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to achieve project goals.
- Lead effective project meetings and support clear decision-making processes.
- Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive issue management.
- Track project costs and resources, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
- Evaluate project outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, or a related field (master’s degree is an advantage).
- 4+ years of experience in the UAV industry, ideally in project management or senior engineering roles.
- Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver technical projects.
- Practical experience in UAV systems development, testing, or engineering design.
- Proven track record in leading project teams and delivering complex technical projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Planner, Sensei IQ).
- Experience in documentation management and project reporting.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in written and spoken Latvian and English.
- Competitive salary 4400 – 5000 EUR gross per month depending on experience.
