Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled GoLang Developer to join our dynamic team in Toronto. This role is ideal for someone passionate about backend development, high-performance systems, and cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coding & Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust Go applications and services.
• Backend Engineering: Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable backend systems.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure application responsiveness and efficiency, with a focus on scalability.
• Concurrency & Parallelism: Utilize Go’s concurrency model (goroutines, channels) to build high-performance solutions.
• Testing & Debugging: Write unit and integration tests, and debug issues to ensure high-quality code delivery.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product managers.
• Code Reviews: Participate in peer reviews to uphold code quality and consistency.
• Architecture: Contribute to system architecture and design decisions.
• Deployment: Deploy applications on cloud infrastructure and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Essential Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) programming.
• Solid understanding of concurrency and parallel programming in Go.
• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Competence in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred / Additional Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration tools.
• Proficiency with databases, including:
• Relational: PostgreSQL, MySQL
• NoSQL: MongoDB, Cassandra
