Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Psychology (Ref.: 533317), to commence on November 3, 2025 or as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or above in Psychology or a related discipline. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese), strong communication skills, basic knowledge in using statistical software such as SPSS and R, be self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently and as a team. Those with experience in working with children/adolescents; and/or developing mobile applications are preferred. Applicants for Research Assistant I should have experience in monitoring a research project independently and supervising junior research staff.
The appointee will work on various projects related to children’s and adolescents’ mathematics learning. He/she will be responsible for literature review, preparation of assessment and intervention materials, liaising with external parties, coordination of data collection and intervention activities, conducting assessments with children, supervision of research interns, data processing, and other research-related duties as assigned.
