Research Assistant II in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 533287) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical/Biological Sciences or a related discipline. Those with experience in bacterial culture and molecular biology would be highly desirable. Research experience and proficiency in using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) or other statistical packages would be an advantage. They should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a strong sense of responsibility. The appointee will work in a research group focusing on microbial genomics and antimicrobial resistance.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
