Scrum Master role:
As a Scrum Master you will support teams adopting Agile values and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban or others) while bringing your experience setting up ceremonies and improving ways of working. You will drive to build autonomous and resilient teams. You will foster a continuous improvement culture, encourage value creation and promote feedback mindset.
In this role you’ll also have great opportunities to influence our way of working and drive continuous improvements together with the teams. You will collaborate with Release train engineer and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role. You will contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization sharing your experiences and knowledge

Your responsibilities:
- Assist the Product Owner in backlog management and guide the team regarding priorities and scope.
- Promote and embody an agile mindset and values.
- Create a trusted and safe environment for open problem-solving.
- Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution within the team.
- Coach the team and Product Owner in Agile practices, with a focus on self-organization.
- Support value creation and continuous improvement while facilitating ceremonies.
- Remove impediments and educate the organization through training and workshops.
- Share agile knowledge and experience with the team.
- Encourage collaboration and cooperation among Scrum Teams.
- Manage impediments and monitor process efficiency (velocity and load).
- Facilitate the team’s ceremonies: Backlog refinement, Sprint planning, Daily stand up, Retrospective, Sprint review, Product issue Log meeting.
- Report and escalate coordinating team needs to relevant stakeholders.
Required Competencies
- Preferably have several years of product development management experience within Volvo trucks
- Relevant experience, mastering one or several agile frameworks SCRUM KANBAN etc.
- Effective verbal & written communication skills, plus relationship building and influencing skills
- Ability to drive continuous improvement
- Complete vehicle knowledge and understanding
- Experience with plastic engineering is meritorious
- Experience from CAB engineering is meritorious
- Fluent in English, verbal and written
The Scrum Master / Maintenance engineer should be an engineer with the capability to understand the team deliveries, have the personal skills to lead people and have a good knowledge in the Agile way of working.
Experience Required
2-6 years of related Scrum Master experience
Performs well in high-pressure, fast paced environment – both independently and as a team member
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
Proven skills in problem solving and industrialization of vehicle components
