We’re looking for a mid-level Front-End Engineer to join a leading player in the banking sector on a 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale digital projects that impact millions of users, leveraging modern technologies and best practices in a collaborative environment.

Contract Details

• 6-month initial contract (with possible extension)
• $600/day+GST
• Sydney-based hybrid working model (2-3 Days in Office)

Tech Stack

• React (modern hooks-based development)
• GraphQL for data fetching and API integration
• Microfrontend architecture for scalable, modular delivery
• AWS for cloud infrastructure and deployment

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain responsive, high-performing front-end applications
• Collaborate with backend, design, and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences
• Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape the front-end direction
• Ensure performance, security, and maintainability across multiple microfrontends

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Familiarity with GraphQL and API integration best practices
• Exposure to microfrontend design principles
• Experience working in AWS environments (e.g., Lambda, S3, CloudFront)
• Financial services or enterprise background is a plus
