Full Stack Engineer

Build digital platforms serving Australia's media and design community in a product-focused engineering role with genuine technical ownership.

You'll develop full-stack features from database to UI across four established media brands, working with React/Vue/Angular frontends, Node.js and Django backends, and end-to-end API ownership on AWS infrastructure.

You'll work closely with the Head of Product on a stable roadmap where your work has long-term impact.

This environment suits engineers who like moving quickly, taking initiative, and owning outcomes. Developers from agency or media backgrounds will be particularly well suited, especially those used to fast-paced delivery environments, balancing priorities, and shipping quality work at speed.

Hybrid setup with minimum two days in their Sydney office, with fully remote options also available for the right person. You'll use AI coding tools daily and have genuine input into technical direction and product decisions.

What You'll Do:

• Develop full-stack features using React frontend with Node.js and Django backends

• Own RESTful APIs end-to-end and manage SQL database design and optimisation

• Deploy and maintain applications on AWS infrastructure

• Use AI coding tools like Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code as part of your daily workflow

What You'll Need:

• 3+ years full-stack development experience with examples of products/features you've shipped

• Strong experience across modern JavaScript frameworks, Node.js/Python backends, and SQL databases

• Comfortable taking ownership and working autonomously

• Experience using AI-assisted development tooling in day-to-day engineering workflows

• Strong communication skills working with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Agency or media background highly regarded
