UI Developer

We’re looking for a UI Developer to help modernize the software platform that manages transportation and safety in Belgium. This is a large-scale and meaningful project: your work will directly impact the safe operation of vehicles across the country.

What you’ll do

• Develop new features while also supporting existing modules.
• Write precise and reliable code – safety is critical.
• Contribute to the technical design and implementation of the system.
• Create clear documentation so colleagues can easily follow your work.
• Depending on your experience, take on a lead role in design choices, tools, and methodologies.

Tech stack you’ll work with

• Rust (strong programming skills required)
• Qt (you’re an expert or ready to become one)
• Linux (basic knowledge for development & debugging)
• GIT (version control)
• Nice-to-have: Java and/or Python

Who you are

• You speak Dutch or French, plus English.
• At least 5y experience as a developer
• You’re precise and structured – safety matters.
• A good communicator and strong team player.
• Proactive: you don’t just code, you think along and bring ideas.
