We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in Qt/QML, C++, Android, Java, Kotlin, and cross-platform mobile development to join our team in Oulu. You’ll be working on cutting-edge solutions and shaping the future of mobile software development.

About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in Qt/QML, C++, Android, Java, Kotlin, and cross-platform mobile development to join our team in Oulu. You’ll be working on cutting-edge solutions and shaping the future of mobile software development.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about delivering polished user experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement solutions using Qt/QML, C++, Java, and Kotlin.
- Develop and maintain cross-platform solutions for Android (iOS is a plus)
- Co-work with developers & designers to deliver intuitive APIs and smashing user interfaces
- Integrate build and deployment pipelines, and contribute to test automation CI or RTA
- Troubleshoot problems and optimize performance across platforms.
- Participate in code reviews, plans, and agile development processes.
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Qt/QML and C++.
- Proven track record of building mobile applications for Android, plausible on iOS.
- Familiar with host (Linux, Windows, macOS) environments and cross-compilation.
- Experience with test automation, perhaps using Squish or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, version control (Git), and CI/CD workflows.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Advanced English communication skills, both verbal and written (English is our corporate language)
- Experience with embedded systems or automotive software.
- Familiarity with Qt’s build tools and deployment strategies.
- Contributions to open-source projects, plugins, or hackathons.
- Knowledge of UX principles and accessibility standards.
