About the Role

Linnk Group is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support the monitoring, management, and operation of Juniper Network infrastructure for a large-scale international event program.

You’ll ensure service stability, network visibility, and operational readiness through advanced monitoring tools, automation, and best-in-class systems management practices.

This role sits within our Professional Services / Operations Engineering team, providing hands-on support for high-availability event networks and critical applications.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence: Deliver proactive system monitoring and technical support to maintain stability, performance, and security.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with venue managers, service providers, and engineering teams to align deployments with event schedules.
  • Incident Management: Act as an escalation point for complex system or network incidents; lead rapid diagnosis and recovery efforts.
  • Documentation & Handover: Create and maintain detailed documentation — including network topologies, configuration guides, and runbooks.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance automation, observability, and operational performance using lessons learned from past events.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking, systems engineering, or infrastructure operations for large-scale or high-availability environments.
  • Strong expertise with Linux OS, VMware, and open-source observability tools.
  • Deep knowledge of network monitoring, incident response, and operational best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional, multi-vendor teams under time-critical conditions.
  • Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, NTP, and Grafana.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting international or live events (sports, entertainment, or technology).
  • Certifications such as Juniper, Red Hat, or VMware.
  • Experience with Bash scripting, Ansible automation, and API integration.


Technical Competencies

  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking and Wi-Fi systems.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Grafana, Nagios, Prometheus, and SolarWinds.
  • Ability to design and maintain network/system diagrams, operational playbooks, and documentation.
