Senior Network Engineer – Dubai, Full Time

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading organization in Dubai for a Senior Network Engineer to join their growing IT Infrastructure team.

This is a hands-on technical role responsible for managing complex networking and security environments across on-premises and cloud platforms (AWS & Azure).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain enterprise network and security infrastructure including firewalls, switches, routers, SD-WAN, VPN, WAF, and load balancers.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex IP networks (LAN/WAN/WiFi) across data centers, offices, and cloud environments.
• Administer and optimize hybrid network environments — ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on new technology rollouts, upgrades, and incident resolutions.
• Oversee patching, vulnerability management, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
• Conduct capacity planning and leverage tools like Wireshark for advanced network diagnostics.

Skills & Experience Required:

• 6+ years of experience in network engineering, ideally within large or complex IT environments.
• Strong experience of working within a hybrid environment, with particular emphasis on strong experience with on-premises data centre environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, Cisco (Nexus/ACI/SD-WAN/Meraki).
• Good understanding of cloud networking and security (AWS/Azure).
• Familiarity with ITIL, QoS optimization, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
