Role: Sr. Android Developer

Location: Bristol, UK

Type: Contract (Inside IR35)

Job Description:

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java
• In-depth understanding of the Android SDK, UI design principles, design patterns, and industry best practices
• Hands-on experience with offline storage, multithreading, and performance optimization
• Solid knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem, including commonly used libraries for development, benchmarking, and optimization
• Proficient in Google’s Android design guidelines, Material Design, and version control systems like Git
• Practical application of SOLID principles and clean architecture best practices
• Experience with MVVM, MVI, and Android Architecture Components, including Jetpack libraries
• Proficient in Jetpack Compose for modern declarative UI development
• Experience working in a modularized codebase to improve scalability and maintainability
• Skilled in writing and maintaining UI tests to ensure robust and reliable user interfaces
