DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are hiring 7 Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) to join our client’s critical operations team in Germany. This role requires strong expertise in observability, automation, and secure logging, with hands-on experience in Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Kubernetes, and Linux. You will manage platform stability, participate in incident response, and contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and support Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD pipelines (Helm, Jenkins, ArgoCD).

- Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash, Go) and deploy Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

- Maintain Prometheus & Grafana monitoring systems and configure alerts.

- Operate and optimize Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for secure logging.

- Troubleshoot platform and performance issues; participate in 24x7 on-call rotations.

- Ensure compliance with security standards and manage access control.

- Contribute to knowledge base and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Linux systems (preferably in Kubernetes environments).
• Proficiency in Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Hands-on with Prometheus, Grafana, and observability tools.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals & REST APIs.
• Programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, ArgoCD, Helm) and Git workflows.
• Fluent in English (German language a plus).
• Willing to work 24x7 shifts, including weekends/holidays.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Must be a citizen of EU & NATO countries (no dual citizenship outside).

- Must reside in Germany or be open to relocate.

- Willing to undergo Ü2 security clearance.

- Preferred Certifications: Elastic Certified Engineer, LPIC-2, Kubernetes Administrator.
