Lead Senior Frontend Developer

Our Dublin based client are looking for an experienced and Lead Frontend Developer candidate who has managed a team of Frontend Engineers to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is for a top client and salary and package is top tier.

This is an exciting career opportunity with a growing team who are expanding their Technology operations in Dublin and they are looking for a Manage grade person to lead the overall Frontend Team.

Responsibilities

• Write and review high level code, and deploy systems that support the business needs
• Participate in UX & UI application design and architecture reviews on an ongoing basis
• Engage in an agile, interactive software development process
• Collaborate and work closely with business, product and engineering teams and general stakeholder
• Break down complex problems into simple, creative, and effective solutions that can meet business needs and requirements
• Build solutions for high availability, observability, and maintainability
• Provide support for the platform as and when required

Experience required

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Expertise and someone coming from Frontend React/ Angular Frameworks
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science or Engineering
• Knowledge of an object-oriented programming language with a proven track record of delivering high-quality data applications
• Experience designing & building web applications with a strong eye for UI / UX and intuitive functionality
• Knowledge of modern web programming frameworks (e.g. React), HTML, JavaScript & CSS
• Interest in finance, hard-working and eager to learn in a fast-paced, innovative commercial environment
• Strong communication skills for interacting with the wider team stakeholders.
• Ability to think strategically and act tactically with a high level of attention to detail
• Demonstrated curiosity, analytical skills, and resourcefulness with a proven record of ownership and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
