About the Role

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin, XML, and Jetpack Compose,

Design and implement modern, scalable, and reusable UI components with XML and Compose, ensuring high performance and consistency,

Collaborate with design, backend, and QA teams to deliver seamless and engaging user experiences,

Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of coding standards,

Diagnose and resolve technical, UI, and performance issues, ensuring app stability and responsiveness,

Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure robustness and reliability,

Analyze and act on user feedback, analytics, and crash data to guide ongoing improvements,

Support the full application lifecycle — from planning and development to release and post-launch maintenance,

Stay up to date with Android SDK, Jetpack and Compose updates to adopt the latest best practices and tools.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline,

Minimum 3+ years of experience in native Android development,

Strong proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android development practices,

Solid understanding of MVVM and Clean Architecture principles,

Hands-on experience with Android Jetpack components, Coroutines, Hilt (Dependency Injection), Retrofit, and Room,

Proficiency in developing user interfaces using both XML layouts and Jetpack Compose,

Ability to design responsive UIs, manage UI state, and implement component-based layouts across both XML and Compose environments,

Skilled in integrating and optimizing RESTful APIs, Room Database, and DataStore for data-driven applications,

Strong knowledge of SQLite schema design, normalization, and query optimization,

Experience with unit testing using JUnit and Mockito, and debugging complex issues,

Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies,

Awareness of mobile performance optimization, memory management, and emerging Android technologies,

Strong understanding of SOLID principles and object-oriented programming,

Good command of English with effective communication and problem-solving skills,

Open to feedback, collaborative, and results-oriented mindset.
