About the Role


At Akakçe, we are scaling our mobile platform to handle millions of daily users. We are seeking iOS developers to join our team, who will be responsible for high-impact projects and work closely with product and data teams to create seamless experiences for visitors.

Responsibilities


Develop and maintain native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit,

Design and implement modern, scalable, and reusable UI components with SwiftUI and Combine,

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Android, Backend, Product, Design) to deliver consistent and high-quality mobile experiences,

Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and performance analysis to ensure reliability and maintainability,

Diagnose and resolve technical issues, UI bugs, and performance bottlenecks,

Analyze user feedback and app analytics to identify areas for improvement and new feature opportunities,

Participate actively in the full application lifecycle, from planning and design to release and post-launch optimization,

Keep up to date with Apple’s latest SDKs, Swift, and SwiftUI advancements, adapting them to enhance the product experience.

Contribute to architectural discussions, sharing best practices to improve development efficiency and product quality.


Required Skills


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline,

Minimum 2+ years of experience in native iOS application development,

Strong proficiency in Swift and modern iOS development practices,

Hands-on experience with both SwiftUI and UIKit frameworks,

Solid understanding of MVVM and Clean Architecture principles,

Skilled in designing and implementing declarative UIs with SwiftUI, including state management and reusable component architecture,

Experience working with Combine, Core Data, and RESTful APIs for data handling and synchronization,

Familiarity with App Store release processes, provisioning profiles, and TestFlight distribution,

Knowledge of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and experience delivering pixel-perfect, high-performance UIs,

Experience in unit testing, debugging, and performance profiling across multiple iOS versions,

Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies,

Strong understanding of SOLID principles, OOP, and clean code best practices,

Awareness of performance optimization, memory management, and emerging iOS technologies,

Good command of English with strong communication and problem-solving abilities,

Open to feedback, collaborative and detail-oriented with a results-driven mindset.
