Job Description
What we are looking for
The Network and Systems Administrator reports to the Director of Information Technology.
Main Responsibilities
Computer Network Management: Design, configure, install, and maintain the Lacroix Medical Group's computer network, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment.
Systems Administration: Manage VMware servers and operating systems, such as Windows Server and Linux. This includes installing, configuring, updating, monitoring, and troubleshooting systems.
IT Security: Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect the network and systems from internal and external threats. This may include managing firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection systems (SIEM, EDR), and security policies.
Data Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement data backup strategies to ensure the availability and integrity of company data. Be able to quickly restore data in the event of an outage or disaster.
Technical Support: Provide technical support to users for network or IT system issues. This may involve remote or onsite troubleshooting, incident resolution, and providing user advice and training (+ cybersecurity).
