We are looking for an Python Developer for a hybrid project based in Lisbon (hybrid).

Requirements:

• Proven experience (2+ years) in Python development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented and modular programming principles.
• Expertise in code refactoring and improving code quality.
• Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, performance testing, and regression testing.
• Good knowledge of Python 3 and the challenges associated with migrating from older versions.
• Experience with Jenkins CI and writing Jenkins files.
• Deep understanding of the SOLID principles of object-oriented design.
• Experience with distributed computing principles and optimizing data processing.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Experience with OpenShift is a significant asset.
• Experience with big data environments, particularly Cloudera, is a significant plus.
• Understanding of data modelling and creating data structures on Hadoop.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve technical problems.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
• You will be part of a team of 5 developpers and will report to the Data domain manager.

Role:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Jenkinsfiles/ Groovy, SonarQube.
• Manage containerization using Docker and orchestration with Docker Compose.
• Develop and maintain scripts in Shell (sh) for automation and system tasks.
• Work in an Agile methodology, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications using Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Utilize XL Deploy for application release automation and deployment.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and integrate various components.
• Ensure robust networking and security practices within our infrastructure.
• Integrate and automate workflows using Jira APIs.
• Read and understand Python code for integration tasks
