The Delivery Manager reports to the Senior Manager, Delivery within the Value Stream. This team is an autonomous team of delivering ongoing IT and network change following scaled agile practises. Each Value Stream supports a unique set of business processes and is aligned to the business organisation.

This role involves the facilitation of the Value Streams’ major events and processes. This includes supporting the organisation configuration of the Value Stream, standardising and documenting practises, management of external dependencies and risks, help to ensure value delivery, and help drive continuous improvement. This role also participates in scaled agile/lean transformation and coaching leaders, teams in new processes and mindsets.

The ideal candidate is an individual who has a strong background in scaled agile practises ideally coming from a scrum master and release train engineer background. Specific knowledge on organisation and project management and domain/process knowledge in Telco areas such as activation or assurance may also be required.

Your day at NTT

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring they meet scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations.
• Manage risks and issues, proactively identifying and resolving delivery roadblocks.
• Engage with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to align delivery with business goals.
• Communicate progress, dependencies, and changes clearly and regularly.
• Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, architects, and business analysts.
• Facilitate collaboration across internal and external teams, vendors, and partners.
• Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Monitor delivery metrics to assess performance.
• Ensure quality standards are met through testing, reviews, and compliance checks.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and outcomes.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations for delivery initiatives.
• Optimize resource utilization to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery.
• Align delivery with IT strategy, enterprise architecture, and business priorities.
• Contribute to roadmap planning, helping shape future initiatives based on delivery insights.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other relevant discipline
• Experience in integrating multi-application and cross-partner business IT solutions (preferred in telco industry)
• Working as an iteration lead/scrum master in an agile environment
• Project management experience in a large scale IT delivery
• SAFE Cert
• MUST BE LOCATED IN VIC
