Job Description
- Support the design and implement policies, guidelines, and procedures, and lead on change management and employee engagement activities in Germany
- Monitor changes and trends in employment law and best practice to ensure continued compliance and ensure that legal requirements are met in terms of employee relations to minimize exposure to liability.
- Support to translates HR strategy into actionable plans for Germany and supports global HR program implementation
- Support established Works Council relations: Liaising with Workers Councils in Germany; drafting, negotiating and updating of company agreements after consultation with all internal stakeholders such as HR, Finance, IT or other involved Business Groups
- Administers programs, procedures and plans related to employee relations activities, working with external vendors if required.
- Assist HRBPs on specific projects/initiatives/policies to provide professional advice & guidance on all HR matters to line managers & staff in Germany
- Work closely with HR Operations to make sure HR processes are running smoothly in Germany
- Leads or contributes to HR projects as required
This is a fulltime temporary contract until February 2027
Knowledge, Skills and Experience / Qualifications:
- Fully qualified and experienced professional. Possesses strong competence with the various tools, processes and procedures used to accomplish the job.
- Typically requires 5 to 8 years of related experience.
- Academic degree in the area of HR Management or other relevant study (business administration, law, psychology).
- In-depth knowledge of German employment law, collective bargaining & works council laws
- Good experience in project handling
- Excellent cross-cultural, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Is used to work in a complex, fast-changing and high-speed work field
- Solution thinking and able to demonstrate strong initiative and drive, ability to getting things done and to manage multiple projects and partnerships effectively
- Very good command of German & English language are key elements required for the job
- Experience using MS-Office and ideally SAP HR & SuccessFactors HR modules
