This includes regularly updating cluster components, container images, and dependencies to ensure compliance and resolve known vulnerabilities (CVEs). The role also involves improving CICD pipelines to streamline the delivery of secure and reliable cloud-native workloads.Team ActivitiesMaintain and upgrade Kubernetes clusters and associated infrastructureMonitor and remediate CVEs in base images and application dependenciesRebuild and redeploy container images as part of regular maintenanceEnhance and support CICD workflows for Kubernetes workloadsAutomate security and compliance checksCollaborate with development teams to align platform updates with application lifecyclesTroubleshoot and resolve issues affecting production workloadsDocument processes and maintain operational runbooksRequired SkillsStrong understanding of Kubernetes architecture and operationsExperience with container image management (Docker, BuildKit, etc.)CI/CD tooling expertise (e.g., GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Concourse)Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Helm, Kustomize, Terraform).
