What You’ll Do:

• Automate everything possible - from switch provisioning and monitoring to full network lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and optimize ultra-low-latency networks connecting trading systems to global financial markets.
• Develop Python-based automation tools and leverage frameworks like Ansible and Terraform to eliminate manual configuration and streamline deployments.
• Support and expand a multi-vendor environment including Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto technologies.
• Assist with network migrations, hardware rollouts, and performance tuning initiatives.
• Contribute to the firm’s Infrastructure-as-Code vision through tooling, process and innovation.
• Monitor and analyze traffic patterns to uncover optimization opportunities and further reduce latency.

What You’ll Bring:

• A strong grasp of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, Multicast, VLANs, QoS).
• Experience with Linux environments and scripting in Python (or similar languages).
• A passion for automation and simple engineering.
• Curiosity about low-latency systems, packet analysis and performance optimization.
• A growth mindset - eager to learn from experienced engineers and tackle real-world networking challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative attitude.
