I'm working with a fast-growing startup in Gothenburg using cutting-edge AI to transform how businesses build, scale, and operate their digital products. Having secured a further round of investment, we’re looking for a hands-on & technical engineering manager to lead, mentor, and grow a small, high-performing engineering team, whilst collaborating closely with the CTO & Product to have a defining role in a fast-growing company!

What You’ll Do

• Lead and coach a talented team of software engineers, driving technical excellence and collaboration.
• Work hands-on with Golang, Node.js, and TypeScript in a modern, cloud-native environment (AWS)
• Partner closely with product and design to deliver high-quality, scalable features powered by AI.
• Shape our engineering culture, architecture, and processes as we scale from startup
• Balance leadership with technical depth guiding design discussions, reviewing code, and helping your team grow.

Who You Are

• You have 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead with coaching and mentoring responsibilities.
• You have a strong background in software development with around 6+ years of experience minimum, ideally with production experience in Golang, Node.js, and/or TypeScript & SaaS
• You’re energized by building things from scratch, experimenting, and working in a fast-moving startup.
• You value autonomy, learning, and impact and want to be part of a team shaping the future of AI.
• You’re based in Gothenburg and happy to be in our modern in-office, with flexibility to work from home when needed
