Senior Python Developer

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to join a project focused on developing an internal service responsible for extracting and propagating data across various systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python (primary)
Build and optimize RESTful APIs to support internal data workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data propagation.
Implement microservices following best practices in scalability, reliability, and performance.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Support CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployment processes.
Contribute to the evolution of system design and architecture for long-term maintainability.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Python (mandatory)
Solid understanding of data structures, distributed systems, and system design.
Experience with RESTful API development.
Knowledge of Django or Flask.
Experience working with PostgreSQL and/or Cassandra databases.
Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins (or similar CI/CD tools), Docker, and Kubernetes.
Experience with AWS or another major cloud provider.
Background in microservices architecture.

Nice to have

Good knowledge of Java.
Knowledge of Spring Boot
Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Understanding of ETL processes.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
