Job Title: iOS Developer (SwiftUI)

Location: Leicester, UK (Hybrid: 3 days onsite)

Duration: 6-Month Fixed Term Employment (FTE)

About the Role:

UST is seeking a skilled iOS Developer to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing iOS applications for a leading client in Leicester. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with modern technologies in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performing iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Work effectively within the Apple ecosystem, leveraging Xcode IDE.
• Optimize app performance and troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
• Implement automated testing (unit and UI) using the XCTest framework.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment, actively contributing to sprints and ceremonies.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps.
• Integrate and manage RESTful APIs to ensure smooth data flow.
• Deliver applications that meet accessibility standards and enhance user inclusivity.
• Work with deeplinking, universal links, and custom URLs to support marketing initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in iOS application development using Swift & SwiftUI.
• Proven hands-on expertise in Xcode IDE and Apple’s developer ecosystem.
• Experience with RESTful API integration and modern mobile architectures.
• Knowledge and application of CI/CD best practices.
• Ability to deliver high-quality solutions in Agile development environments.
• A passion for creating accessible, user-focused applications.

Nice-to-Have / Preferred:

• Previous experience working in hybrid environments or fixed-term contracts.
• Familiarity with advanced iOS features such as deep linking and custom URLs.
