Position Overview

Our client is seeking a creative and technically skilled UX Designer & Front-End Developer to join their team. This dual-role position blends user-centered design expertise in Figma with hands-on front-end development skills, enabling rapid design-to-deployment workflows.

The ideal candidate will transform high-fidelity mockups into pixel-perfect, accessible, and high-performing interfaces, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

User Experience Design (UX) & Prototyping

• Lead the end-to-end UX design process using Figma—from wireframes and user flows to high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and incorporate feedback into iterative design improvements.
• Develop and maintain the design system and component libraries in Figma for visual and functional consistency.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to define user stories, journeys, and acceptance criteria.

Front-End Development & Deployment

• Translate Figma designs into clean, responsive, and production-ready front-end code using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Develop and maintain React components (functional components, hooks) that align with design system standards.
• Rapidly prototype and deploy simple static or marketing websites using standard web technologies and hosting platforms (e.g., Netlify, Vercel, GitHub Pages).
• Collaborate with developers for smooth integration between design and development environments.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design with strong front-end development capabilities.
• Expert proficiency in Figma for advanced prototyping, design systems, and component library management.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, UX problem-solving, and implementation outcomes.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience building applications using React (Hooks, functional components).
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Experience deploying simple websites or applications using modern hosting and CI/CD tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills—able to articulate design rationale and technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG standards), and cross-browser optimization.
• Exposure to API integration and basic back-end collaboration.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.) and CSS preprocessors (SASS, Styled Components).
• Prior experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
