Following a successful 2024, this organisation is undergoing rapid expansion. You will be key in supporting a complex migration from PHP to Kotlin Microservices on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain modern software solutions in a service-oriented architecture.
• Shape the architecture, API landscape & technical standards to develop scalable solutions.
• Support the migration from legacy PHP codebases to Kotlin Microservices on AWS.
• Ensure clean code & testability, conduct code reviews & promote best practices within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field).
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in Software Engineering.
• Several years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Kotlin/Java.
• Deep understanding of modern architectural design and domain-driven design.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and experience with distributed systems.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
• Problem solver who can balance technical excellence with business requirements.
