Job Description AI Talent is on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between software development and operations, supporting robust, secure, and scalable deployments. You’ll work closely with development teams to automate, monitor, and enhance delivery pipelines, ensuring performance, reliability, and security across the software lifecycle. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of full-time experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Systems Engineering role.
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Automate software build, test and deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Monitor system performance, availability and security across environments using industry-standard tools.
- Write and maintain scripts for infrastructure automation and configuration management (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Bash).
- Collaborate with developers and QA to troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis, implement preventative measures, and optimise system processes.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation including deployment guides, monitoring plans and recovery procedures.
- Perform security assessments, manage encryption protocols, and support compliance audits.
- Contribute to the development of internal tools to improve efficiency, system visibility, and automation.
- Drive continuous integration, delivery, and improvement strategies across the SDLC.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Certified in relevant DevOps or cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, TOSCA, Kubernetes, ServiceNow Admin).
- Experience with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Selenium, and ServiceNow.
