Job Description AI Talent is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to become a key part of our expanding team. In this role, you’ll act as the crucial link between development and operations, driving the automation and optimisation of our deployment processes. You will collaborate with developers to streamline CI/CD pipelines, enhance system reliability, and ensure secure, scalable infrastructure throughout the software delivery lifecycle. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of full-time experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Systems Engineering role.
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Automate software build, test and deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Monitor system performance, availability and security across environments using industry-standard tools.
- Write and maintain scripts for infrastructure automation and configuration management (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Bash).
- Collaborate with developers and QA to troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis, implement preventative measures, and optimise system processes.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation including deployment guides, monitoring plans and recovery procedures.
- Perform security assessments, manage encryption protocols, and support compliance audits.
- Contribute to the development of internal tools to improve efficiency, system visibility, and automation.
- Drive continuous integration, delivery, and improvement strategies across the SDLC.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Certified in relevant DevOps or cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, TOSCA, Kubernetes, ServiceNow Admin).
- Experience with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Selenium, and ServiceNow.
