Lead Data Analytics Engineer – Supply Chain
Paris office (hybride with remote work)
65-80K€ base + BSCPE
We’re supporting a rapidly growing global consumer goods platform that partners with some of the most exciting health, wellness, and lifestyle brands worldwide. Their model blends deep operational expertise, data-driven execution, and proprietary technology to scale challenger brands into household names.
They’ve secured significant backing from top-tier investors and operate across major marketplaces and retailers internationally. They’re now strengthening their data function to support their evolving supply chain operations.
🎯 THE ROLE
This newly created position will sit at the intersection of data engineering, product, and operations. As Lead Analytics Engineer, you’ll own and evolve the internal suite of data tools and pipelines that power their global logistics ecosystem.
You’ll work on transforming a spreadsheet-heavy environment into a scalable, engineering-led architecture — redesigning data flows, building robust pipelines, and simplifying complex systems that connect 3PLs, Amazon, and internal platforms.
This is a hands-on technical role with strategic influence. You’ll get involved in scoping, designing, and delivering data solutions that underpin critical supply chain processes.
🛠 TECH STACK
- Snowflake for data warehousing
- Airflow for orchestration
- Python (Pandas, scripting) for data transformations
- Heavy use of SQL for modeling, querying, and building reliable data products
🧭 RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain, improve, and simplify internal tools supporting order, replenishment, and depletion flows
- Redesign data pipelines and reduce technical debt to improve scalability and clarity
- Act as a technical project manager, ensuring stability and clear communication between systems (internal tools, Amazon, 3PLs)
- Translate business needs into technical solutions and explain data logic to non-technical stakeholders
- Build and maintain reliable data products and validation checks
- Collaborate closely with analysts, engineers, and business teams to deliver measurable impact
- Provide light mentorship to colleagues, sharing best practices in SQL, Python, and data product design
🧠 YOUR PROFILE
- Around 4–7 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering roles
- Excellent SQL skills, with strong experience in data modeling
- Solid Python scripting abilities; Pandas familiarity a plus
- Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow
- Strategic mindset with the ability to simplify complex supply chain ecosystems
- Comfortable balancing hands-on engineering with scope and stakeholder management
- Strong communicator, fluent in English, able to explain complex concepts clearly
