DevOps Engineering Manager – Jenkins

Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid)

Our client is a global financial services organisation known for investing heavily in technology and innovation. They operate at the intersection of finance and technology, providing advanced digital solutions that keep their systems and clients ahead of the curve.

They are now looking for a DevOps Engineering Manager to take ownership of building and leading the next generation of enterprise CI/CD pipelines. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, ideal for someone passionate about automation, scalability, and team collaboration.

What you’ll do

• Lead a team of DevOps engineers and developers to build a strong and scalable Jenkins platform
• Design and implement a unified CI/CD framework using Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, and modern DevOps tools
• Drive Infrastructure as Code adoption and oversee pipeline administration
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to define strategy and ensure high delivery standards
• Stay ahead of new DevOps technologies, assess tools, and drive adoption across teams
• Mentor engineers and promote DevOps best practices throughout the organisation

Must have

• 3+ years leading or managing a DevOps team
• Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, and CI/CD pipeline design
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or other major cloud providers
• Experience automating infrastructure deployment and using IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Solid programming or scripting experience (Python, Node.js, etc.)
• Strong understanding of Git and version control principles

Desirable

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or container orchestration
• Knowledge of Software-Defined Networks, VPCs, and cloud networking technologies
• Experience in large-scale, global DevOps environments
