THE ROLE
As a Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll design, build, and operate features across the stack: frontend (React/Vue), backend (Go/Ruby on Rails), and a touch of DevOps (CI/CD, infra as code, basic cloud). You’ll collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and Operations to ship reliable, measurable outcomes fast. You embrace AI (from code assistants to LLM-powered product features) to boost quality and speed without compromising standards.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Build customer-facing UIs in React (Next.js) with TypeScript; apply design-system components, accessibility, and performance best practices.
- Design and implement APIs/services in Go and/or Ruby on Rails (Postgres/Redis) with clear domain models and data contracts.
- Own end-to-end delivery: CI/CD pipelines, observability (logs/metrics/traces), feature flags, rollbacks, and on-call participation for owned components.
- Use AI coding assistants responsibly (tests, refactors, scaffolds) and integrate LLM-powered features (classification, summarisation, content generation).
- Write robust tests (unit/integration/E2E with Playwright/Cypress); guard core flows in CI and keep pipelines green.
- Partner with Data on instrumentation, A/B experiments, and KPI readouts; iterate quickly based on evidence.
- Contribute to engineering standards: code reviews, security-by-default patterns, documentation, and reusable components.
- 4–8+ years building production web products in a modern stack.
- Proficiency with TypeScript + React/Next or Vue/Nuxt, and Go and/or Ruby on Rails in production.
- Solid SQL/Postgres skills; familiarity with caching, background jobs, and event-driven designs.
- Comfort with cloud (AWS/GCP), containers, and CI/CD basics (GitHub Actions/GitLab); Terraform a plus.
- Experience using or integrating LLMs; understanding evals, guardrails, and cost/performance trade-offs.
- Strong product sense, communication, and a bias to action; you measure outcomes, not outputs.
- Nice-to-haves: payments, search, pricing/availability, or marketplace experience.
- Customer First: Relentless in providing the best service at the best price to all customers.
- Ownership: Proactively take ownership and deliver on our goals.
- Committed: Work together, as a team, for the long-term.
- Learn, build and structure.
- Be precise and go deep.
