A leading name in Network Security are seeking an experienced IT Network & Cloud Engineer to support a high-profile environment focused on IT and cloud infrastructure. This hands-on role involves managing network and security systems, including Palo Alto firewalls, LAN/WIFI switching, and AWS cloud instances.


The successful candidate will work onsite alongside the client’s technical team, ensuring day-to-day operational stability, security, and long-term performance of the IT environment.


Key Responsibilities

The IT Network & Cloud Engineer will manage and maintain Palo Alto firewalls to ensure secure and efficient network operations, while configuring and supporting LAN and WiFi infrastructure for optimal connectivity and performance. The role includes deploying and managing AWS cloud instances, including VPCs and security groups, as well as providing proactive troubleshooting and support for network and security issues. The engineer will collaborate closely with client stakeholders to ensure systems meet operational, compliance, and security standards, and will maintain accurate technical documentation and operational procedures. Ensuring adherence to IT security best practices and organizational policies is a critical part of the role.


Skills & Experience

  • Proven hands-on experience with enterprise network setup and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of LAN, WIFI, routing, VLANs, and cabling technologies.
  • Working experience with Palo Alto firewalls and AWS cloud environments.
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex IT environments.
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English languages:
  • Ability to work independently onsite and liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Desired Skills

  • Prior experience in enterprise or managed IT service environments.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management frameworks.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to handle critical situations calmly.
  • Flexibility to work off-hours or weekends when required and participate in a rotating on-call schedule (one week per month).


This is an initial 2 year contract which opportunity to extend, 2/3 days onsite in Malmo per week. Must speak fluent Swedish.
