The role leads projects primarily in support of global operations strategy for the Life Science Solutions Group although it support other groups / divisions as the need arises ensuring that they are delivered on time and with the desired outcome by leading and motivating the project team assigned consisting of subject matter authorities & functional leaders. You will ensure that each project adheres to the BTO project management process. You will have a high degree of autonomy to achieve project goals & objectives.

Essential Functions:

• Initiate, plan and implement assigned projects using standard work.
• Build and present project report outs to leadership.
• Craft project plans with supporting analysis.
• Leading project teams which may be at remote location.
• Form relationships with business leaders and divisional teams to drive efficiency in the project approval and implementation phases.
• 25% global travel – as required to support the project lifecycle.
  
  

Keys to Success:

Education:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a science, technical or business field or at least 3 years’ equivalent work experience.
  
  

Experience:

• Experience gained from leading projects across a global organization is desirable.
• Solid track record for running projects in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience of significant capital investment projects or establishing new sites, product transfers, consolidations is desirable.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Confirmed understanding of project management tools and methodology.
• Must be detail oriented as well as exhibit strong organizational skills.
• Ability to optimally interact with and collaborate across departments, business unit leadership, and Thermo Fisher divisions.
• Ability to influence others and partner cross functionally.
• Strong communication and social skills. Strong team building skills and the solid ability to work with a diverse group of people to develop credibility and forge solid and positive professional relationships with peers and management.

Compensation

The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €3 441,67–€5 166,67.
