Job Description

Our client is looking for an Android developer. Will be the only Android developer on the 11-person team. Focus will be on games.

- Major focus points are user retention/engagements, mobile telemetry, and how do people find games

- Need someone who is self driven, flexible, and able to hit the ground running.

- Contribute to the full development cycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch. You will be responsible for managing your task list pipeline as well as communicating your progress throughout the task life cycle.

- Aid the development, maintenance, and support of our platform's Android features.

- Work with the team to develop, maintain and support all features on Android

Perform code reviews on features developed by your peers

• Collaborate with the team on future features and possible visual designs
• Maintain strong communication on progress as well as on question/concerns you foresee
• Manage designated tasks assigned on Jira

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5+ years of software engineering experience,
• Jetpack
• Kotlin
• Kotlin Coroutines
• Room DB
• Troubleshooting performance
• Customer-Facing product experience. Understand what customers want.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver projects on schedule
• Self-directed and thrive in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with remote teams and communicate complex technical topics to diverse audience
