Intern, Software Engineer

We are looking for our future Intern, Software Engineer to join our Product Development team in our Sandyford, Dublin office.


The role is offered onsite. The internship is offered for 6 months, starting in January 2026.

Let's talk about the Role :


This role is an internship within the software engineering product development teams with ResMed Ireland based in Sandyford. This is a hybrid role with several days on site and the option of several days remote.

The primary role of Engineering function within the Product Development team is to create specifications and designs for new products or improvements and enhancements to existing products. The engineering function works closely with customers, developers and other stakeholders to understand and define customer needs in these designs and features are aligned to a timetable and areas of responsibility. This is a product development position, focusing on cross-functional efforts to bring ResMed’s products and services to market. You will have the opportunity to get involved and be responsible for your own work activity across the various project offerings.

• Work within multiple different software teams within Resmed (Devices & Digital)
• Clear and concise communication of outcomes to internal / external stakeholders
• Develop software for multiple different platforms and technology stacks
  
  
  

Let’s talk about your Qualifications, Skills and Experience :

• Studying for a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or cognate field
• Excellent formal and informal communication skills
• Experience with programming languages, for example, Python, Java or C++
• Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
