About the role:
Reporting to the Lead, Infrastructure Security, the Analyst, Infrastructure Security is responsible for operational and project activities that ensure we create and use quality data to assess our security risks at EVR. This role supports a wide group of stakeholders by enabling access to actionable data and helping translate insights into improvements across the environment.
To be successful, we are looking for someone who can work independently, can meet tight deadlines, and collaborate across teams including IT and OT infrastructure, cloud and server systems, cyber security operations, development, and user services.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Develop, mature, and maintain our Vulnerability Response (VR) and Incident Response (IR) programs
- Work with the ServiceNow team to develop and maintain workflows, configurations, and reporting within the Security Operations module
- Manipulate and present data to a range of technical and business stakeholders
- Support security operations and projects by developing a deep understanding of data sources used in security and risk decision-making
- Collaborate with our Cyber Defence Center to investigate and respond to security alerts and incidents
- Define success metrics for each security initiative and coordinate associated change management needs
- Produce supporting documentation such as support guides, knowledge base articles, and standard/policies
- Train users to effectively access and utilize security data
- Experience with cyber security operational functions, especially vulnerability response and incident response
- Experience working with ServiceNow, particularly in workflow development, configuration, and the Security Operations module
- Experience with Windows server and workstation administration and configuration
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud environments.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerBI and Excel for reporting and data analysis
- Familiarity with IAM (Identity and Access Management) practices is beneficial
- Exposure to Windows patching via Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) is a plus
- Skilled at presenting data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficient in core information security concepts and technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Able to manage multiple priorities independently and meet project deadlines.
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field preferred
