  • Pressure Equipment & Plant Engineering: Inspection, testing, and certification services focusing on pressure equipment such as pressure vessels, boilers, tanks, and piping systems.

  • Electrical & Building Technology: Evaluation, inspection, testing, and certification services for electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
  • Industrial Inspection & Material Testing: Comprehensive inspection and testing services for industrial facilities and their materials.
  • Infrastructure & Project Management: Project and construction supervision as well as integrated services for infrastructure projects.

Job Description

  • Prepares the inspection service.
  • Considers and studies the relevant regulations, norms and standards.
  • Executes simple inspections (e.g. preshipment inspections) or inspections corresponding to qualification (e.g. welding inspections) according to the customer assignment.
  • Might perform expediting or auditing services, if qualified.
  • Under certain circumstances, the services can also be carried out with a remote solution.
  • Creates a final report.
  • Communicates closely with the coordinators and customers.
  • And other duties as assigned.

Experience & Further Qualifications

  • Conversant with the applicable International Codes & Standards and Hazard Area

Classification.

  • Valid CompEx (Competency in Explosive Atmospheres) certification as required by

the scope of work.

  • Higher National Diploma (HND) or Diploma or higher educational qualification in

engineering in the respective engineering discipline such as Civil, Mechanical,

Metallurgy, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecommunication or an approved

equivalent discipline as required based on the scope of work.

  • Be conversant with the relevant and applicable International Codes and Standards.
  • Have a proven continuous working period of at least three years with the assigned

TPIA unless waived by PED on a case-by-case basis.

  • Maintain relevant valid competency, qualification, and experience certificates.
  • Have 10 years of experience in QA/QC, Inspection and Testing activities for the

relevant discipline in Fabrication, Manufacturing and Construction in Oil and Gas or

Petrochemical Industry as required by the scope of work.
