We are looking for an experienced Lead Security Consultant to head a privacy consulting team and drive data-protection initiatives for a major Swiss client base. In this role, you will combine hands-on project delivery with team leadership - managing and developing consultants, ensuring high quality across engagements, and acting as a senior subject-matter expert in privacy and information security.
You will lead and coach a small to mid-sized consulting team focused on privacy, data protection, and information security. You’ll oversee project delivery and quality assurance across DSMS/ISMS workstreams, while also contributing directly to projects - designing and implementing privacy frameworks, conducting DPIAs, performing vendor assessments, and advising on technical and organizational controls. In addition, you will support capacity planning, resource allocation, and pre-/post-sales activities such as scoping, proposals, and client workshops.
The ideal candidate has several years of practical experience in data protection and information security, including leading consulting or implementation projects. You have a strong track record delivering privacy programs, DPIAs, and audits, as well as building and operating DSMS/ISMS environments. Relevant certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPT, CISSP, CISA, or CISM (or equivalent experience) are highly valued. A solid educational background in law, IT security, information management, or a related field is expected. Excellent German and fluent English skills are required. You bring a cooperative, reliable leadership style, strong communication skills, and the ability to interface effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Our client offers a meaningful leadership position with direct impact on client programs and team development. You’ll work in a hybrid model with modern office facilities in key Swiss locations (German-speaking region), within a collaborative, quality-driven consulting environment operating at the intersection of technology, organization, and people. The company supports professional development and certification, offers competitive salary and benefits, and provides a strong platform for continued growth in privacy, security, and leadership.
