Junior Data Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Engineer with around 2–3 years of experience to join our growing data team. You will help design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that support analytics and reporting across the organization. Working closely with data analysts, your work will help turn data from multiple sources into clear insights that support better decision-making and more efficient commercial operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines
• Manage and optimize data storage solutions (e.g., data lakes, data warehouses).
• Ensure data quality, privacy, and security by following established standards and best practices.
• Monitor daily dataflows, identify issues, and assist in troubleshooting and improvements.
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of data engineering best practices and standards.
• Work together with both technical teams and business users to understand their data needs and make sure data is used effectively across the organization.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

C# / .NET (8 or later):

• Experience with C# and .NET.
• Understanding of OOP, async code, and APIs.
• Willingness to learn how to build and maintain data-related services using .NET.

SQL:

• SQL knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft/Azure SQL Server

Azure

• Familiar with Azure Functions, Azure Storage
• Basic understanding of
• Azure Data Services
• Deployment process / CI/CD with Azure DevOps

Data Source Formats:

• Understanding of API
• Understanding of XML, JSON and Parquet
